The next step in the development of the acacia column processing machine is the development of software that automates the operation of the machine by triggering manual control of the machine. The software will automate the following features:
- Starting and stopping.
- Removing the debris part (milling) following the natural curvature of the wood.
- Finishing the surface perfectly with the sanding heads.
Software testing is currently underway on the prototype, and will continue on the new machine once the hardware portion of the new, upgraded machine is ready.
